Ladies Meet – MSWS Ladies’ Wellness Session

The Mind Spa Welfare Society conducted a focused Ladies’ Wellness Session emphasising the interconnection between the brain and body, and how emotional and physical states influence one another.
Dr. Navneet Kaur, Physiotherapist, demonstrated practical relaxation techniques including 4-6-8 breathing, JPMR, guided stretching, grounding through the five senses, cognitive reframing, thought labelling, and the daily gratitude practice known to reduce cortisol levels by 23%.
Mrs. Sangeeta, Joint Secretary, introduced inventory writing as an effective psychological tool for identifying stressors and supporting emotional release.
The General Secretary, Ms. Amandeep Kaur, presented the society’s activity report, highlighting ongoing initiatives. MINDFUL MELA stood out as star activity of October.
The session concluded with words of appreciation from Dr. Haramrit Sohal, Patron, who acknowledged the vital role of family caregivers and underscored the importance of self-love and self-care
